love and heretics

It's better to light a candle than curse the darkness

The “What” game…

The What game.
My youngest son came home from school one day and said…”guess what?”
I responded with the normal response, “What?”
He replied, “you’re it!” and laughed!

He then explained whoever says the word “what” is it.

Simple as that.

Except not so simple.

We say “what” a lot! A lot more than I realized.

So it has been fun, involving the whole family in it.

Trying to be clever, catch each other off guard…

You run a risk if you ask a question the THE word in it…”Guess WHAT i did today?”
For a keen player will know you have just said the word and respond to your question with…
“you’re it”.

One must become devious and clever and wait in anticipation to catch keep players off guard.

A good bloodcurdling scream usually allows me sole victory in a single moment. 😀

as Three Loud “WHATs” echoed from the next room….. hee…..

Stopping the car short en route, and declaring “Oh my goodness!” works quite well also.

“I can’t believe I forgot that on the way home!~!!” works…

and there are many more.

I dare you to find out how often you use the word “what”….
